I specialise in “Getting it Done” – my business, and personal, life has always been about dealing with unusual situations and solving problems where no-one else can see the way through. I am a deal artist; “finding” the way through to a successful completion where others draw a blank. In real estate property deals & company turnarounds I think laterally, vertically, horizontally, in a linier way, in a parabolic way and I can do a 180° in the blink of an eye if that's what it takes to “seize the day”.

I feel lucky that throughout my life I have never had roots, I have never had a community to which I belonged or felt I belonged to. I feel Lucky because I have been released from the restrictions & obligations which normally get drummed into people, I have been able to “burn the bridges” behind me without regret in order to “do it better” at the next step.

As a natural communicator I have spent hours with hundreds of people helping them to find and understand themselves, I have “shown the way” forward so that people can see light where previously they only saw despair and darkness. I have also talked myself around on many occasions when times have been hard using hundreds of techniques to self-analyse and strengthen myself for trials that would crush most people.

Although I was born in Europe to an English Mother and South American Father, most of my formative years were spent living in a middle eastern desert on the edge of the Sahara . We lived in a proper Sandstone house (a British War Cemetery actually) but it was very isolated and although I attended the nearest British army school in the nearest town, I spent most of my time on my own. The nearest building to us was about 6 kilometres into the desert, it was the castle of that country's King. I met the Princess before I was seven and played with the Prime Minister's children from time to time. Around the age of ten the country went through a full scale revolution, the royal family were exiled and we lived in mild fear for the next two years until we were also expelled from the country.

I spent a rather strange and shocking year in an old traditional English boarding school while my parents settled down in the UK (my choice) which included canings, fagging, cruel head boys and even crueller prefects. Going to boarding school was the first decision I can ever remember making and fighting for – which was a disaster! But it taught me a great deal even if it was a total culture shock.

After this I arrived in the North of England just in time for the last term of Junior school, I didn't know anything that the other kids knew about relationships, fashion, pop music – that's when I started learning at a ‘rate of knots' to catch up. I also had to “learn to fight” physically as well as mentally which was another good skill for adulthood.

Since that time I have never stopped learning and trying to understand the workings of the mind and achievement. It has always been my mission to “know the facts” so that I can make better choices and decisions. If you “expect the worst” and plan for it you can never be caught out totally, you will already be ahead of the crowd because that's where you need to be all the time. If you are out on your own you can see things coming much easier than if you are in the middle of a crowd (even if it does seem safer in a crowd).

I spent some time in the British army which enjoyed greatly, except for the type of people it attracted who were generally looking for a lazy answer to their life. So I got out and within months I became self-employed in 1978 and I have remained self-employed ever since. During the last 30 years I have experienced most industries including; Property, Finance, Media, Events, International Trading, Entertainment and Marketing in all its forms.

This has given me a very wide range of experience to draw on when looking at property transactions, making them work and getting them to completion – for the last 10 years I have been based in Switzerland & Monaco and retain various international business interests.
